2) Service choice — select economy groupage, pallet LTL, or an exclusive dedicated van.

Customs & documents (CH → RU)

Shipments travelling Switzerland → Russia cross an international border and usually go through customs. For standard household goods / personal effects, you may be asked for a numbered box inventory, declared values, a copy of ID/passport and, when relevant, simple proof of relocation or long-term stay. Commercial shipments typically need a proforma or commercial invoice with full shipper/consignee details, item descriptions and values in EUR.

Personal effects: a box-by-box list and approximate value speeds up customs and insurance review. Please avoid sending passports, cash, jewellery or prohibited / hazardous materials.
Commercial items (if any): usually a proforma/commercial invoice showing shipper and consignee data, item descriptions and declared values. Extra paperwork may apply depending on commodity type.

FAQ — Switzerland → Russia

Can I ship only suitcases as unaccompanied baggage?
Yes. Tag each suitcase, pass it to our driver during pickup in Switzerland, and we deliver it to the final address in Russia.
Is there a weight limit per box?
We recommend ≤30 kg per carton for safe manual handling. Anything heavier should be palletised so it can be moved mechanically.
What is the fastest option?
A dedicated van (FTL) is our quickest door-to-door service. Transit is often 24–72 h after collection, depending on the city pair and border timing.
Can I get insurance?
Yes. Optional all-risk cover is available for shipping boxes to Russia, sending personal belongings and luggage (excess baggage). We explain limits and exclusions before booking.
No lift / mountain access — is that a problem?
We can still collect in alpine areas or deliver in Russian city centres with no lift, but long carry, stair carry or shuttle vehicle may add handling charges. We flag this in the quote.
Do you help with customs paperwork?
We guide you on typical personal-effects paperwork (inventory list, value declaration, ID copy, proof of relocation if relevant). Formal customs brokerage, where required, is arranged case by case.
